Michigan District Mission Board
Planting Churches. Growing Ministry. For His Glory.
We help the congregations of the WELS Michigan District identify new mission fields, plant new churches, and partner with new ministries across Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, Western Pennsylvania, and surrounding areas.
Plant
New churches in strategic, growing communities.
Partner
New ministries reaching people in fresh ways.
Proclaim
The Gospel of Jesus Christ to all four states and surrounding areas we serve.
Forward in Faith.
The Michigan District Mission Board exists to help our district’s congregations carry out the Great Commission. We study population growth and mission opportunities, walk alongside called workers and exploratory missionaries, and provide guidance and resources so the Gospel can take root in new places.
From the cities of Michigan to the hills of West Virginia, we believe every community deserves to hear that Jesus is their Savior.
